World Market

World Market Friends + Family Sale

I really wish there was a World Market closer to me.  It’s one of my favorite stores to walk around in because there’s such a unique mix of things from kitchenwares, to food, to furniture and decor.  We lived right next door to one about 10 years ago in Chicago which was SO convenient (and also horrible on the bank account).  Now, there’s one in the town I work in which is nice if I want to take a look but also puts a safe distance between us so I don’t lose our life savings.

If you are a World Market Rewards member, you’ll get early access starting today to the Friends and Family sale.  Using code WMRFRIENDS, you’ll be able to get 30% off almost everything in the store (now, what that almost is and isn’t, I don’t know).  If you’re not a rewards member, you can go onto their site and sign up to get early access, otherwise you’ll need to wait an ENTIRE DAY to shop the sale using code FAMFRIENDS30.

Below are some of my favorites from the sale.  As always, clicking on the links will take you directly to the item on the World Market website so you don’t have to go fishing around for it.

Linen Bench | I think benches like this are really versatile.  Depending on how you style it, it can match a lot of different decor types.  As is, it has a french country feel, but I think with the right pillows or throw it can have a farmhouse look also.

Industrial Metal Wall Hooks | These would be great for an entryway or right next to a door to hang jackets or bags.  It’s small so would be perfect for a dorm room or an apartment but still has plenty of hooks.

Wood Pedestal Table |  I’ve shared this a few times and I really can’t get enough of it.  I love a good piece of furniture with a pedestal!  Tables like this could be used in an entryway, staircase landing, next to an accent chair or couch, end table.. the possibilities are endless!

Wood Coffee Table | I’m kind of obsessed with tables like this.  I’ve seen a few different variations either having a concrete top or a metal top like this one.  The size is really good if you have a couch – not so much if you have a sectional.

Blanket Ladder | With cold weather season right around the corner, cozy blankets are about to make their comeback.  If you’re anything like me, you have a crap ton of blankets and nowhere to put them.  Using a ladder like this is a great way to display them and store them – love things that are multi-functional.

Black and White Plaid Throw |  Give me all the plaid things. Black and white plaid is something that can last through multiple seasons… and TIS THE SEASON.

Striped Towel + White Chevron Hand Towel | These two towels are favorites of mine, especially the striped one.  It could be used in the kitchen or as a hand towel in a guest bathroom.  The white one comes in several different sizes and I love them for bathrooms.  There’s nothing better than a fresh white towel in a bathroom!

Farmhouse Chalkboard | My favorite thing about this chalkboard is the wood frame.  I’m a huge fan of wood accents on things – I feel like it warms up a room.  Chalkboards are a fun way of welcoming a holiday, a new season, writing dinner menus, whatever you want!

Metal Laundry Sign |  Most people focus only on decorating main rooms of their house, but why not include the laundry room?  Especially if you have kids, I know you’re spending lots of time in there, so better to make it look amazing!

Metal Cup Holder | If you’re a fan of Rae Dunn, this metal cup holder is the perfect way to display all your cute mugs right on the counter.

Gold Metal Wall Storage + 9 Cubby Wall Storage |  I love these metal wall storage units, especially to put in a foyer or mud room.  We have one to keep our mail and magazines in.

Olive & Eucalyptus Garland | Did you guys know World Market carries FRESH plants?  I’m obsessed with this garland which would look amazing on a fireplace mantle.  It’s 6 feet in length and did I mention it’s LIVE?!

Gray Planter | I love planters like this that stand a bit off the ground.  This one is very fairly priced and is a great size for potted plants and even something like a fiddle leaf fig.  WM has several different size options as well if you want something even larger or smaller to fit on something like a counter.
