I very recently learned that Amazon has some pretty amazing home decor…… WITH PRIME SHIPPING. I’ve ordered small knick knacks here and there, but nothing like what I’m about to show in this post. I’ve never considered Amazon to be a mecca for home decor, but after having a bit of an Inception moment on their site, they’re definitely a top contender. I should say, in order to find some of the good stuff, you have to dig far and wide through their site. I don’t find it to be very user friendly and literally had to spend hours searching through links and filters to find what I was looking for, but in the end I did ultimately find some amazing things.
Once we move, I’m slowly going to start to refresh our furniture. I saw these Sauder Night Stands and instantly “saved them for later”. The color wood (Salt Oak) is perfect – not too dark, not too light. I like that it has a slim top drawer to stick your phone or a magazine in (do people still read those things?).
Our new home is going to have a small mudroom which has two tall built in coat closets with a bench in-between. This Sonoma Rustic Natural Bench is a great way to add in wood tones. I personally love adding in touches of wood to warm up a space.
I think I explained in a prior post that I always get yelled at when I bring pillows home, so naturally, I found that Amazon has a ton of amazing pillows that I fear I won’t be able to resist. One (of many) that caught my eye was this Pillow Perfect Tribal Sampler. Most of what I saw were just covers, which is fine if you already have a pillow to put it on, but this one is an actual pillow. It would look great outdoors on a sofa or dining chairs.
I am in love with this Rustic Wood Wall Shelf. Don’t let the picture fool you (it looks kind of lame), but I’m likely going to get one of these when I move and put it in one of the bathrooms. It’s really versatile – you can use it as a spice rack and hang a towel off of it, store wine glasses or mugs… I can keep going.
This Moroccan Blythe Area Rug from nuLOOM is one of my favorites patterns. I purchased a very similar style rug a few years back for our living room and it can probably stand to get replaced. It’s neutral, but still has a pattern that makes it a little more interesting.
I linked these Umbra Hub Wall Mirrors in the Shop our Home tab of the blog. I love them so much I put them in all my bathrooms. The frame is rubber, but you would NEVER know unless you touch them. They look so classy and timeless and would also be a great addition to a hallway or foyer.
Fiddle Leaf Fig Plants are all the rage, especially the faux ones. BUT, this one is real, has amazing reviews, and is a fraction of the price of the artificial ones. I’ll definitely be scooping a few of these up once we make the move.
While we’re on the subject of plants, I found this adorable Macrame Hanging Planter. It won’t fit your fiddle leaf fig plant, but surely something smaller. I love the idea of putting these in kids rooms — plants are really good for air purification and getting rid of toxins. This Metal Planter is also a good option if you’re not into hanging them – it’s super rustic looking and the legs are really fun.
I’ve had a long obsession with Turkish Towels and these are currently in my shopping cart and ready to go. These are hand towels and could also be used as dish towels AND are a fantastic deal. They dry fast and look really nice on display.
Cozy throws are the best, and with fall right around the corner, this Textured Tassel Throw is perfect for sitting outside on a cool night or around a fireplace. The quality looks good, the reviews are good, it’s just good.
I want to hang a pergola over our future patio just so I can buy this Macrame Swing and have somewhere to hang it. I am in LOVE with it and best part is it’s super affordable. I can just picture myself sitting on it with a glass of wine in my hand. Annnnd while we’re on the subject of Macrame, I shared a similar Woven Tapestry on the World Market sale post, and this is another really good option (and under $20!).
I originally purchased one set of these Wire Storage Baskets to use in our pantry and loved them so much I just ordered another set. I like the opening on the front because it allows for easy access. I plan on putting produce that doesn’t need to be refrigerated in them and some easy accessible snacks for my son.
Our pantry is a little boring – just white shelving, so at some point I plan on sprucing it up a bit and came across this Peel and Stick Wallpaper. There are a ton of different patterns and the reviews are good, so this is a top contender. I don’t need anything fancy in there (it’s a pantry that NO ONE is going to see but me), so no need to waste tons of money having it tiled.
