If you’re anything like me, I’m not a fan of “pictures” hanging on my walls. I’m not really into art (in Barcelona, I walked through the Picasso museum in record time – probably about 10 minutes… come on, there were tapas calling my name). I also don’t like bare walls, so I try to look for unique pieces that have a lot of texture or have some functionality like a shelf.
World Market is having a wall decor sale where items are marked up to 50% off. I’m sharing a few things I’m eyeing (and have in my shopping cart!) Also, make sure to use code freeship65 to get free shipping on orders over $65.
I’m a huge fan of buying fun mirrors and replacing those boring standard bathroom vanity mirrors. It livens up the room and gives it a more decorated feel. I love this brass metal loop mirror, but unfortunately it’s sold out online. The Round Sorrento Mirror is another good choice (I actually used to have a very similar looking mirror in our master bathroom and got tons of compliments on it). Lastly, this Jute Framed Mirror would be a great choice to put in a nursery or hanging over a foyer table.
This Farmer’s Market Sign would be cute in a kitchen or hanging above a pantry door.
I currently have this 9 Cubby Metal Storage bin in my shopping cart. I was debating what to do with it until I read the comments and people were saying it fits mugs! This would look great over a coffee bar.
Fun shelving is a really inexpensive way to add some character to your home and display more decor. I like the industrial yet rustic look of the natural wood shelf collection and the crate storage. I suppose you could even turn those crate shelves into regular crates and put them on a coffee table with a few candles.
This Lost Socks Storage sign is sold out online, but it’s such a good idea for all those lost socks (and don’t even tell me you don’t lose socks in the wash! if you don’t, you’re not human). Set an alert for when it’s restocked!
I’ve been looking for a way to track all the places I’ve traveled to, and this World Map Cork Board is about to go in my cart. You can use pushpins to mark where you’ve been and another color for where you want to go.
Lastly, I like the natural look of these Wood + Acrylic Wall Hooks. We had several of these in our last house and they were filled with coats, bags, and aprons.
